Vandoorne back in the car for post-Spain test

Spanish Grand Prix – Stoffel Vandoorne will be back in the McLaren MP4-31 for next week’s post-race test following the Spanish Grand Prix. He will be driving on Wednesday, with Jenson Button taking driver duties for Tuesday. The Belgian made his Formula One debut at the Bahrain Grand Prix, deputising for Fernando Alonso who was still recovering from his high-speed crash at the season opener in Australia. Since then, Vandoorne has begun his season in Super Formula, taking a podium finish at his first race in Suzuka.
