Latifi practice run will not take place in Montreal

Nicholas Latifi will not participate in free practice for his home Grand Prix at Montreal for the Renault Sport F1 team, his management team have confirmed. The Canadian is scheduled to take part in one free practice session during the 2016 season, but due to his GP2 Series commitments and his focus on having a strong season with the DAMS team. The twenty-year-old had his first test with the team on Thursday, running 140 laps of Silverstone in a 2012 E20, a car from the Enstone-based team’s previous incarnation of Lotus. “No announcement yet on where Nicholas will drive FP, but I can confirm that it will not be in Montreal,” said the spokesman for Latifi’s management team to...
