Pirelli confirms tyre compound nominations for British Grand Prix

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre compounds it has nominated for the F1 2016 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. For European races, the 2016 regulations state Pirelli must announce the three compounds eight weeks in advance, compared to 14 weeks for fly-away events. The orange-marked hard, white-marked medium and yellow-marked soft tyres will be brought to Silverstone for the British GP, which takes place from the 7-10 July. One set of the hard tyre and one set of mediums have been allocated for the race, while a set of the soft tyre has been reserved for Q3.
