Red Bull confirms Verstappen/Kvyat swap for Spain
Max Verstappen will replace Daniil Kvyat from the Spanish Grand Prix, Red Bull announced on Thursday morning. Motorsport.com revealed on Wednesday night that Red Bull had been pondering the shock switch for as early as Barcelona in response to Kvyat's Russian Grand Prix crashes. The team has now confirmed that the move, which will see Kvyat switch to Toro Rosso, is happening. Red Bull boss Christian Horner said: “Max has proven to be an outstanding young talent.
