Mercedes issues open letter to quash conspiracy suggestions

Mercedes AMG Petronas has issued an open letter to its fans in an effort to deflect any suggestions there were more underhand tactics at play in Lewis Hamilton's recent technical errors. A fourth win in a row for Nico Rosberg, coupled with problems for Hamilton during the Russian Grand Prix has raised the suggestion from some that Mercedes is somehow favouring the German over the defending champion. Having been angrily refuted by Toto Wolff in Sochi, Mercedes has now issued an open letter to shut down the rumours and also explain the effect such a suggestion can have on the team members as well.
