Force India encouraged by VJM09 pace
– Force India Chief Operating Officer Otmar Szafnauer says the outfit can draw encouragement from the pace of the VJM09 despite early clashes scuppering the team's prospects for the second time in three Grands Prix.Sergio Pérez started from sixth place but sustained a puncture at Turn 2 after being clipped by Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and dropped to 18th place, before recovering to claim ninth.Nico Hülkenberg was eliminated in a secondary incident at the same corner when he was hit from behind by Haas' Esteban Gutiérrez, in turn spinning into the path of Manor's Rio Haryanto.Despite Pérez's recovery, Force India slipped behind McLaren in the Constructors' championship and sits...
