Hamilton blasts stewards over Russian GP reprimand Lewis Hamilton says that Russian GP reprimand, following he had been to see F1 stewards to argue his case, was 'bloody ridiculous'. Defending world champion handed the first reprimand in Bahrain, the second round of the 2016 world championship, for reversing in the pit-lane when he parked up in the wrong place after qualifying on pole. The punishment was seen by some as excessive, given that the session was over and he was merely repositioning the car a matter of centimeters.
