Hamilton reprimanded for qualifying incident

Lewis Hamilton has been given a reprimand for his incident during qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix. The Briton was summoned to see the stewards after race direction said he had failed to follow its instructions. "Car 44 did not keep to the left of the red and white polystyrene block in the run-off area in Turn 2 at 15:08," said the stewards' statement after Hamilton ran wide at Turn 2 during Q1. After seeing the stewards, the Mercedes driver escaped a penalty and was only given a reprimand.
