Rosberg claims pole position in Russia as Hamilton falters

Nico Rosberg claimed pole position at the Russian Grand Prix, after Lewis Hamilton suffered a technical glitch at the beginning of Q3, and that meant the Englishman could start no higher than 10th place. Sebastian Vettel qualified in second place, but due to his eminent 5-place grid penalty, the German will start seventh.
