Hamilton strikes back; Vettel hits reliability problems – FP2 Report
Russian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton struck back against Nico Rosberg in FP2 ahead of the Russian Grand Prix. His time of 1:37.583 was eight tenths of a second ahead of the German who was third in the standings. Sebastian Vettel was six tenths off but ended the session early with more reliability woes for Ferrari. The German encountered an electronics problems towards the end of the low fuel runs which saw him park his Ferrari on the pit straight. It meant he missed the race simulations in the latter half of the session, and will have to play catch up in FP3 before qualifying.
