Former Manor boss John Booth joins Toro Rosso
John Booth will assist Toro Rosso in a new consultancy role Toro Rosso has named former Manor F1 boss John Booth as its director of racing ahead of this weekend’s Russian Grand Prix. The appointment sees the experienced Englishman return to the F1 paddock after resigning from his team principal role at the struggling Manor squad at the end of last season. Since leaving the sport, Booth along with former Manor F1 sporting director Graeme Lowdon have set up a new Manor sportscars outfit, which competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
