Toro Rosso appoint Booth as director of racing
John Booth, former Manor F1 team principal, is to return to the sport again as director of racing for Scuderia Toro Rosso. Booth, along with sporting director Graeme Lowdon, left Formula One at the end of last season after leading the backmarker team since their debut in 2010. Booth and Lowdon then teamed up to form another Manor outfit in the World Endurance Championship, competiting in the LMP2 class this season. Booth joins the Italian team on a consultancy basis with immediate effect, and is set to make his first appearance at the Russian Grand Prix this weekend.
