Pirelli: FP1 incidents 'not tyre related'

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed that Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen's issues during first practice for the Chinese Grand Prix were "not tyre related".Williams driver Massa endured two left-rear punctures in Friday's opening session, while Renault's Magnussen suffered the same after an apparent suspension failure.Although it was feared the three failures could be linked, given that they occurred on the same part of the car, Pirelli says its initial investigations prove otherwise."We confirm: Williams and Renault failures NOT tyre related," it posted via Twitter.Massa suggested that his incidents were caused by bodywork rubbing, with smoke seen...
