Rosberg tops dramatic first practice – FP1 Report
Chinese Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg ended the session as the fastest driver in a session which saw two red flags thanks to tyre issues for the Williams team. The Mercedes driver lead a Mercedes 1-2 at the Shanghai circuit by setting a 1:37.037. He enjoyed an advantage of just one tenth over team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who suffered two spins during the session at turn eleven. There were concerns in the Williams and Renault garages as both Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen suffered from worrying tyre failures. The Williams was the first to show signs of trouble with a spin at turn six, the cause of which appearing to be a separation of the tyre from the wheel. The spin caused a red flag...
