Formula 1 Drivers Controlling Sport?
Formula 1 continues to rise in popularity, and year after year, the drivers get more involved. Lewis Hamilton, the reigning world champion, has had a slow start, and has been more interested in discussing the racing, rather than improving upon it, citing a ‘clutch problem’ as the reason for his unimpressive start. However, former 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve has told the drivers to “shut up” and to “drive”, saying that they shouldn’t be worried about the rules, and making excuses.
