Button: I think people took GPDA letter the wrong way
Jenson Button insists the Grand Prix Drivers' Association letter was simply a call for drivers to have a consultancy role in how decisions are made in F1, not a motivation for drivers to begin influencing the direction of the sport. Ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix, the GPDA – agreed by all drivers but specifically co-signed by Button, Sebastian Vettel and GPDA president Alex Wurz – released a statement airing their dissatisfaction with the direction of the sport.
