Ecclestone: GPDA interested in ‘taking money' out of F1
F1 Supremo Bernie Ecclestone has again riled up controversy, questioning the Grand Prix Driver’s Association’s (GPDA) right to scrutinise decision making. The latest comments by Bernie Ecclestone come in response to a GPDA open letter criticising F1 governance. Speaking with N in Bahrain, Ecclestone replied to questions over the GPDA’s stake in the sport in a retort fashion. 'What sort of interest do they have, the drivers, other than taking money out of the sport? “They shouldn't even be allowed to talk. They should get in the car and drive it.'
