Romain Grosjean wins ‘Driver of the Day' Award

Bahrain Grand Prix – Haas driver Romain Grosjean has won the Driver of the Day Award for the second round of this year's championship. Grosjean, who also won the first round award for his Australian drive, has picked up the official F1 ‘Driver of the Day' award for his stunning drive to P5 in Bahrain. The Haas driver qualified within the top ten on Saturday and raced solidly to P5 in a race without interruptions or Safety Cars – unlike Australia. While a few big names did retire from the race, Grosjean showed tremendous pace on a racy strategy from Haas that saw the French driver run the SuperSoft Pirelli tyres for much of the race.
