Gutierrez' Bahrain GP retirement due to brake disc problem
Bahrain Grand Prix – Haas's Esteban Gutierrez was forced to retire from the race due to a brake disc problem on his car. While Haas scored another strong points finish with Romain Grosjean on Sunday, scoring P5, Gutierrez was forced to watch forlornly on from the garage. He was an early retirement from the race, pulling into the garage at the end of Lap 9. The Mexican driver could have been another points scorer, and had jumped up to P8 on the opening lap, having started from P13. “We have done a fantastic job.' said Gutierrez afterwards.
