Verstappen praises Toro Rosso recovery in Bahrain

 XPB Images Max Verstappen praised Toro Rosso for the manner in which it recovered from a frustrating first race by securing sixth place in the Bahrain Grand Prix. The opening race of the season saw Toro Rosso fail to capitalise on a strong qualifying performance as Verstappen finished tenth, one place behind team-mate Carlos Sainz. Bahrain saw a reversal of fortunes as Toro Rosso sacrificed qualifying - with both cars dropping out in Q2 - but was strong in the race as Verstappen climbed through to sixth.
