Wolff: Damage cost Hamilton a second per lap

– Toto Wolff believes that the damage to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes W07 Hybrid, following a first corner collision with Williams' Valtteri Bottas, cost the Briton a second per lap in performance in Bahrain.Hamilton bogged down from pole position but retained second into Turn 1, though was hit by Bottas, which caused damage to the front wing and floor of his car.Hamilton dropped to seventh in the incident but was able to recover to third position, albeit dropping 17 points behind team-mate and race winner Nico Rosberg."The car was almost one second down on downforce so there was not really a way of closing the gap to Kimi [Räikkönen] on the same tyre," said Wolff."So...
