Vettel bemused by formation lap failure

Ferrari Media Sebastian Vettel says his failure on the formation lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix caught him by surprise, as he was unable to start the second round of the season. Vettel was set to line up from third place on the grid but smoke trailed from his SF16-H and he was prevented from taking the start. It was the first time in his Formula 1 career that Vettel had been unable to start a Grand Prix. "It was a very short race today, I didn't even break a drop of sweat," he said.
