Magnussen reckons points possible without penalty
Renault Sport Renault driver Kevin Magnussen reckons he could have scored his first points of the year for Renault had he not been forced to start the Bahrain Grand Prix from the pit lane. Magnussen failed to stop at the weighbridge during Friday's second practice session, having believed that the signal was solely for Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat, rather than for both drivers. Magnussen was penalised with a pit lane start but despite his disadvantage, he recovered to finish in 11th position, as Renault once more narrowly missed out on points.
