Hamilton ‘not a given' to finish after Lap 1 collision

Bahrain Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton recovered to P3 after being involved in a Lap 1 collision with Williams' Valtteri Bottas. Hamilton, who started from pole position, didn't make a good getaway off the line and had fallen behind Nico Rosberg into the first corner. However, a move from Valtteri Bottas sent the Mercedes sliding sideways across the track exiting the first corner and he ended up falling down the order. Having picked up damage, he radioed in to say the rear of the car didn't feel right, but managed to keep going. His pace continued to be quite strong and he was able to recover his way back to P3.
