Hamilton keeps pole but receives reprimand for pitlane infringement

Lewis Hamilton will start the 2016 Bahrain Grand Prix from pole position after the race stewards handed the Briton a reprimand rather than a harsher penalty after he was caught reversing in the pitlane during qualifying. The Mercedes driver, along with a team representative, were summoned to see the stewards after qualifying to discuss the incident - a breach of Article 28.3 of the regulations, which states 'at no time may a car be reversed in the pitlane under its own power'. However the stewards deemed a reprimand sufficient as no 'clear instruction' was given to Hamilton as to where he should park his car. Hamilton took his second consecutive pole position in Bahrain...
