Boullier praises Vandoorne professionalism

– McLaren Racing Director Eric Boullier praised the conduct of reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne after he stepped up to fill the place of Fernando Alonso in Bahrain.Alonso was ruled out of action due to fractured ribs, sustained in his high-speed Australia crash, and McLaren called up Vandoorne, who was in Japan participating in a pre-season Super Formula test.Vandoorne placed 11th in the second practice session and Boullier was pleased with the manner in which the reigning GP2 champion adapted to life in Formula 1 at short notice."Stoffel demonstrated his professionalism by getting straight into the car and settling into free practice very quickly," said Boullier."Both...
