Button “optimistic” following McLaren improvement

Bahrain Grand Prix – McLaren served up a surprise in Bahrain as Jenson Button finished third behind the dominant Mercedes duo of Nico Rosberg & Lewis Hamilton, in what was the Woking-based team’s best Friday showing since their renewed partnership with Honda began at the start of last season. Button's best lap on supersoft tyres proved the closest anyone could get to Mercedes.
