Haryanto eyeing chequered flag

Having failed to finish on his Formula 1 debut, Rio Haryanto has set his sights on completing his first race when he turns out at this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix. The 23-year-old, who is the first Indonesian to race in F1, was forced to retire at the season-opening race in Australia due to a drivetrain issue. It was a disappointing end to a weekend that had started so promisingly, with Haryanto out-qualifying his more fancied team-mate, Pascal Wehrlein. Looking ahead to Sunday's race, Haryanto's goal is simply to go the distance. “My debut was an incredible experience and one I’d waited a long time for, so I tried not to dwell too heavily on retiring,” he said....
