Qualifying to remain unchanged for Bahrain GP

Bahrain Grand Prix – The controversial and ill-received elimination style qualifying format will remain in place for the next race in Sakhir. The new elimination style format was used for the first time in Australia, and met with a derisive reception. While Q1 proved quite frenetic, the remainder of the session saw less and less track action as drivers and teams were unable to respond due to the short elimination window. Q3 was shambolic, with drivers putting in one early run and then choosing to sit in the pits for the remaining half of the qualifying window.
