Horner: Ricciardo under contract for 2017

Daniel Ricciardo will not be heading to Ferrari next season as Christian Horner has confirmed that he is contracted to Red Bull Racing. Last season Ricciardo was linked to the Scuderia only for the team to re-sign Kimi Raikkonen. The speculation was re-ignited in Australia when former World Champion Alan Jones urged Ferrari to sign the Aussie for 2017. Asked about the rumours, Ricciardo replied: 'I'm not exactly out of contract either so don't get too excited.' Red Bull team boss Horner has now confirmed that the three-time grand prix winner does have a deal in place for next season.
