Celis to drive in FP1 in Bahrain
Force India has announced that development driver Alfonso Celis Jr. will pilot the VJM09 in the first free practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Mexican will replace fellow countryman Sergio Perez in the session, making his race weekend debut with the team. Celis had joined the Silvertsone-based team last year and drove during the post-season Pirelli test, as well as the pre-season Barcelona test. The Mexican teen is to get seven practice sessions in the 2016 F1 season as part of his deal with the team.
