GPDA Calls for Change in F1 Governance

Formula 1’s trade union of drivers, the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) has called for a change in the sports’ governance in an open letter published today. The letter, signed by drivers Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel, and Alex Wurz states that recent changes to sporting and technical regulations, as well as various business decisions jeopardise the future of the sport. The statement was made after a majority vote amongst the members of the GPDA and highlights the challenges that the sport needs to overcome.
