Wolff encouraged by young driver schemes

– Toto Wolff says he is pleased that Mercedes and some of its rivals have started to follow in the footsteps of Red Bull by placing an increased focus on the progression of young drivers in the sport.Since it entered Formula 1 a decade ago, Red Bull has typically promoted youth, with the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo rising through the ranks, courtesy of junior outfit Toro Rosso.This year, Mercedes protégé Pascal Wehrlein is racing for Manor, while its other young driver, Esteban Ocon, is acting as Renault's reserve driver, alongside his duties in the DTM championship."I think it's a good development," Wolff said of the current situation."In the past...
