No further action over Alonso/Gutierrez collision

Pirelli Media Australian Grand Prix stewards have decided that no further action is necessary over the collision between Fernando Alonso and Esteban Gutierrez at Turn 3. Alonso struck the back of Gutierrez's Haas under braking for the corner and slammed into the wall, prior to being pitched into a roll once he slid towards the gravel. Alonso was able to walk away unscathed from the wreckage of his McLaren and the stewards have now decided that neither driver was at fault. "The Stewards examined the evidence and conclude that no driver was wholly or predominately to blame," read a statement.
