Daniil Kvyat says someone had to get the new qualifying format wrong and on Saturday in Australia, it was Red Bull Racing. The Russian driver was eliminated in the first session and will line up for the 2016 F1 season opener in 18th place. 'Of course it’s frustrating to be P18 but we will learn from what we have done today,' he explained. 'My first lap was compromised by traffic so I had to give it up, and on the second push lap the tyres lost a lot of performance so it wasn’t enough.
