Christian Horner apologises to fans, admits they got qualifying wrong

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has called for a swift reaction to fix Formula 1's new qualifying format after admitting the powers that be 'got it wrong'. The Briton apologised to fans for spoiling the spectacle and has called for a return to the previous format for the next race in Bahrain. 'We should apologise to fans, as that's not what qualifying should be,' Horner told Sky Sports. 'The intentions were well meaning but we have to accept we got it wrong, accept it quickly, and we should go back to what we had in time for the next race, as what we had was not good for Formula 1.'
