Hamilton tops first session of 2016 season

– Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton topped Friday's largely wet opening free practice session for the Australian Grand Prix, the reigning World Champion making use of slick tyres during a small dry window.More to follow.Friday's second practice session in Melbourne begins at 16:30 local time
