Vettel names his SF16-H ‘Margherita'

Sebastian Vettel has named his 2016 Ferrari 'Marghertia', the car that he hopes will trouble the Mercedes out on track. Vettel is known for naming his cars, calling his first Toro Rosso 'Julie'. After that came 'Kate' and 'Kate's Dirty Sister' until down the line his first Ferrari was called 'Eva' and now it is 'Marghertia'. The four-time World Champion revealed the name on Thursday and immediately refuted suggestions that the car was named after the pizza. 'It's not named after a pizza, it's a name first of all,' he said. 'I think if you look it up the first thing that comes up is that is that it's a name, not a pizza. We like the name.
