Pirelli reveal tyre choices for Spanish GP
Pirelli's hard compound tyre will make it's 2016 debut at the fifth round of the championship – the Spanish Grand Prix. Formula One's sole tyre supplier will take the soft, medium and hard tyre compound to the high-degradation Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with the Pirelli dedicating one set of the medium and hard tyre to the race, as per the new regulations for 2016. The soft tyre is the ‘qualifying tyre' for the Spanish Grand Prix event. For the first four races in Australia, Bahrain, China and Russia, Pirelli will be using the super soft, soft and medium-tyre types. As part of the rules regarding tyre choices, Pirelli must specify the available tyre compounds eight weeks...
