COTA confirms United States Grand Prix will go ahead

 XPB Images The United States Grand Prix will go ahead as planned at the Circuit of the Americas [COTA] this year, the race organisers have announced. The race's slot on this year's calendar was marked as subject to agreement with the promoter due to financial concerns, with COTA's funding being cut by the State of Texas. However, the circuit has now announced it has secured the necessary funding to host the race, also announcing Taylor Swift as the headline act for the post-race concert. “We are so happy to confirm F1’s return to COTA as well as Taylor Swift’s headline performance," COTA chairman Bobby Epstein said.
