Raikkonen ends penultimate day on top

Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari’s Kimi Räikkönen set the quickest time on the penultimate day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Räikkönen, who trialled a prototype ‘halo’ head protection device during an installation lap in the morning session, posted a time of 1:22.765 on the Ultra Soft tyres shortly before lunch. Räikkönen’s time proved to be 0.428s faster than Williams’ Felipe Massa, who was the last driver to join the action during the morning session. Nico Hülkenberg placed third for Force India as Max Verstappen completed the most mileage for Toro Rosso and classified in fourth. Nico Rosberg was fifth overall for Mercedes while team-mate Lewis...
