Ferrari sign Alesi & Leclerc to Driver Academy

Ferrari have announced two new signings to their Driver Academy. The announcement, made on Tuesday, revealed two new drivers have been signed to Ferrari's young driver's program. Monaco's Charles Leclerc, moving from Formula 3 to GP3 with ART, is one such driver, and will also work as a development driver with the Scuderia this year. Giuliano Alesi, son of 90s F1 legend and former Ferrari driver Jean, has also been snapped up. He is entering his second season of Formula 4 with Trident. Alesi took to Twitter to say 'It's an honour to become part of this family', while Leclerc said: 'I'm really happy to join the Ferrari Academy and be development driver for Scuderia Ferrari.
