Ecclestone confirms F1 not ready for 2016 knockout qualifying Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed that, F1 is not ready for 2016 knockout qualifying format in Australian Grand Prix, which approved through both the F1 Strategy Group and the F1 Commission this week, because the technological side cannot set up the software and visualization in time.
