Driver of the day doesn't sound good to me – Hamilton Lewis Hamilton has launched another attack on the latest rule changes in Formula one. Earlier this week, the reigning triple world champion said moves to make the cars wider but also heavier in 2017 are 'ridiculous'. And now, the Mercedes driver has ridiculed the decision to crown a ‘Driver of the day' after each grand prix. At Tuesday's meeting of the F1 Commission, it was decided that TV viewers would vote for the best driver during the telecast and then see him 'presented with their prize' at the finish.
