Haryanto accepts blame for testing spin

Manor Racing Manor debutant Rio Haryanto accepted the blame for a spin which disrupted his running during the third day of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Haryanto, piloting the Manor MRT05 for the first time, spun on the approach to Turn 5, leaving his car stranded in the gravel trap. Haryanto was able to return to the circuit and he rounded out the runners, having completed 78 laps, and said the experience felt different to his days racing in GP2. "I made a small mistake and that’s it, no damage to the car, so we managed to get going [again] in the afternoon," he told assembled media.
