Honda to get new F1 boss

Honda's Formula 1 programme is to undergo a revamp, with its motorsport boss Yasuhisa Arai to leave his role at the end of the month. Arai has led Honda's F1 efforts since the manufacturer announced that it would be returning to the sport as the exclusive partner of McLaren. But its return has fallen below expectations, as it faced both reliability and performance issues during a disappointing 2015 campaign. Honda has spent the winter revamping key concepts of the power unit which it hopes will allow McLaren to make the necessary steps and move up the order in 2016.
