Gallery: Formula 1 back in action at Barcelona pre-season test

Formula 1 action resumed on Monday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the first test of the 2016 season kicking off with all 11 teams taking part. Sebastian Vettel finished quickest for Ferrari, but ominously Lewis Hamilton lapped the circuit 156 times, many more than Vettel managed. Does that suggest Mercedes were purely focusing on mileage over pace? Does it prove they have bullet-proof reliability? Nobody knows quite yet.
