Palmer downbeat after truncated test day
A 'difficult' first day for the Renault team mean't Jolyon Palmer was only able to complete 37 laps. Renault were one of only a couple of teams to experience reliability problems on the first day of pre-season testing. The 2014 GP2 champion had the second-fewest number of laps completed and finished the day at the foot of the time sheets with the team opting against any high performance running. When speaking to the media after the first day of testing, Palmer was unable to hide his disappointment at the lack of running. 'A disappointing first day I would say.
