Toro Rosso shows new car in interim scheme
Red Bull/Getty Images Toro Rosso has taken the wraps off of its STR11 during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Italian outfit finished seventh in the standings with the impressive rookie pairing of Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr., who are both set to tackle their second seasons in the sport. Toro Rosso caught the eye in 2015 with a competent chassis and the squad is hopeful of progress after switching from Renault to Ferrari power, albeit with a year-old engine from the Scuderia. The car is this week running in an interim livery, before the full scheme is unveiled during next week's test.
