F1 canopies – Necessary safety or detrimental to the image
F1 canopies have been a thing of debate among fans and teams for a while now, since 2009, when two separate incidents caused the death of one driver and serious injury to the other which caused it rise up to one of the main issues surrounding safety within F1. Many fans and teams are for the idea thanks to the severity of the danger driver’s face thanks to the open top design. F1 cars, thanks to their incredible down force, acceleration and design it mean that when the cars crash they are incredible likely to take off.
